 | For the 1998 model year, the Oldsmobile LSS returns with few changes. The LSS offers a choice between the standard V6 engine and an optional 240 horsepower supercharged engine. New for this year, the LSS is equipped with a new electronically controlled transmission which automatically adapts to minor internal changes to deliver smoother shifting. The LSS also features improved wheel speed sensors for more consistent ABS stopping. Standard features on the LSS include air conditioning, rear and side defoggers, programmable power door locks, keyless remote entry and an AM/FM stereo cassette with CD.
